Transparent pricing and platform security

This page explains how support session billing works, when charges happen, and the security controls used across TellMomo.

How billing works

1. Session windows are designed for 10–15 minutes max.

2. Client pricing is $15.00 per 10 minutes.

3. Listener compensation follows a 60/40 split:60% to the licensed listener and 40% to TellMomo.

4. Payments are processed through an external payment provider checkout (Stripe or PayPal). We do not store raw card numbers in TellMomo.

The amount shown in checkout before payment is the amount charged for that transaction.

Security practices

  • • Auth checks and token validation protect support chat access.
  • • Mutating API endpoints enforce trusted-origin checks.
  • • Rate limiting is enabled on sensitive endpoints.
  • • Stripe webhooks are signature-verified before payment unlocks when Stripe is enabled.
  • • Temporary manual payment confirmation events are audit logged with admin identity.
  • • Security headers are enabled to reduce browser-side attack surface.
TellMomo provides non-clinical peer support and is not emergency care, therapy, or medical treatment.
